And industry statistics show that almost half of that third is consumed by women aged 21 to 34. That means craft breweries are poaching young consumers from the wine and hard liquor categories, growth that is expected to continue in 2015 and well beyond. And like their male counterparts, more and more women are developing a sophisticated understanding of what craft beer has to offer.
