This week on Brown Bag Wine Tasting, William Shatner and Joel Gretsch sit down for a glass of wine and talk life, acting and most importantly (at least in Joel's opinion) golf.
So let's review. The mystery wine featured in this episode and described through the eyes of golf was a 2012 Alamos Red Blend.
The 2012 Alamos Red Blend actually won a Gold Medal Award at the 2014 Los Angeles International Wine Competition. Meanwhile, the International Wine Cellar rated it at an 89 and called it "quite suave for the price point." Even though in the episode Joel gave it an 95 and our sommelier only gave it an 88, Joel liked the wine so much he said he'd buy it.
