Over the weekend, the Daily Currant released a fake article stating that Kanye West said he was the next Nelson Mandela. The quote spread quickly before everyone realized it was all a joke.
There were two things we saw right away:
1. Everyone completely believed that Kanye would absolutely compare himself to Nelson Mandela.
2. Everyone thought of the exact same joke and then tweeted it.
We're not exaggerating. Here's the same joke told 12 different ways.
Kanye West says he is going to be the next Nelson Mandela! Quick someone put him in jail for 27 years.

Kanye West reckons he's 'the next Nelson Mandela..' Let's test that by popping him in prison and seeing if anyone petitions for his release.

Kanye West claiming he is the next Nelson Mandela... Maybe he is... We should probably stick him in jail for 27 years to make sure though
