Over the weekend, the Daily Currant released a fake article stating that Kanye West said he was the next Nelson Mandela. The quote spread quickly before everyone realized it was all a joke.
There were two things we saw right away:
1. Everyone completely believed that Kanye would absolutely compare himself to Nelson Mandela.
2. Everyone thought of the exact same joke and then tweeted it.
We're not exaggerating. Here's the same joke told 12 different ways.
