Yesterday on The View, Marvel announced that their popular character Thor will now be a woman. Because clearly the best way to let women know about anything is through The View. Nonetheless, Thor, who most of us have come to know and love through the Thor and Avengers movies because we don't read comic books, will be no longer. In their press release Marvel said, "This is not She-Thor. This is not Lady Thor. This is not Thorita. This is THOR. This is the THOR of the Marvel Universe. But it's unlike any Thor we've ever seen before."
Unfortunately for Marvel, the news backfired. And women everywhere were suddenly filled with horror: WHAT ABOUT CHRIS HEMSWORTH?
"We're turning Thor into a woman to have more female fans".
Pretty sure Chris Hemsworth gets the female fans interested just fine.

And then ofcourse there are the jokes at Chris Hemsworth's expense.
This whole Thor being a woman now thing means I'm one step closer to my dream of seeing Chris Hemsworth in drag and I'm okay with that

Chris Hemsworth fans can relax for now. Most people are speculating that he will remain Thor for the third Avengers movie but then after that, who knows! It's up the air. Maybe Thor will get her very own movie?
If you are a dude upset by the fact that Thor will now be a woman, don't be a Thor loser.

There are plenty of mixed emotions about the new Thor.
Thor is now a woman, so she'll be paid less and do more work than the previous Thor.

Since we've enjoyed pretty much everything Marvel has produced over the last few years, we're looking forward to the transition from Thor to Thor. Now for our next question: are any of the Marvel comic book writers women?
i am woman hear me thor
