Brace Yourself. Under the Dome is Coming.

Under the Dome is back for round 2, and we're pumped.

Okay, so it's my second TV post of the day. Sorry not sorry, I can't help it. I'm just too excited. Did anyone else freakin' LOVE Under the Dome last summer? It obviously wasn't just me, because it ended up being summer 2013's numero uno show. And now (well, really on June 30) it's back.

In case you don't know what the show is about, basically the premise is that one day out of the blue this small town is suddenly split by an invisible force field of sorts- the dome. Nothing can get in, nothing can get out, and nobody knows why it's there. Chaos ensues. The show was adapted from a Stephen King novel and it started as a miniseries, but this year it's back for season two.

Shout out to G.T.C Express for the season 2 trailer below, and be warned, there are a couple of spoilers if you haven't finished the first season yet.

Stephen King wrote the season 2 premiere, and it looks like it's gonna be pretty intense. This season picks up where last season left off, and now that we're used to the initial mystery it's going to add a few more elements. As in, how is life sustainable when you're locked inside a dome? Polution, food shortages, get at me.

The latest news for Under the Dome is that Brian K. Vaughan, one of the show's writers and its executive producer, has just announced that he's leaving. He wants to get back to his graphic novel work, which I'm sure is going to be very cool if we're making predictions based on the quality of this show. But never fear- apparently he helped to arc the season out, so hopefully we won't even notice a difference.
