Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes, Matt Reeves 2014
By Ali Tenenbaum
It picks up seamlessly where the last movie left off and eases believably into the story (ok, I drank the Kool-Aid: Apes who survive a plague go up against the humans in an all out war. What? Sounds perfectly reasonable to me).
It’s an action-packed, emotionally gripping story that keeps on giving. It’s a shame if you missed this one in theaters but would definitely watch it at home.
Kids will like it (not super young, the apes can be a tad creepy). Not sure grandma will like it so much.
