What Bret Easton Ellis thinks of Bruce Springsteen’s memoir

Larry King NowDec 05 '16

Despite the fact that “people want to revere it,” bestselling author Bret Easton Ellis doesn’t seem wowed by Bruce Springsteen’s recent memoir, ‘Born to Run.’

Bret Easton Ellis: I’m reading the Bruce Springsteen memoir “Born to Run” and I think those are the two main ones, and then I’ve got the two galleys going on at the same time.

Larry King: Is the Springsteen book good?

Bret Easton Ellis: I think people want to revere it. They want to love it, and they want to – but it’s – I’m early in it. He hasn’t even made his first record yet, he’s still growing up. It’ll be interesting to see how dark he goes, I guess. It’s a little, he’s very poetic.
