- Dec 17 '19
Larry King: Keke Palmer in ten years.
Keke Palmer: A mayor. A mayor.
Larry King: Of…?
Keke Palmer: Atlanta.
Larry King: The mayor of Atlanta.
Keke Palmer: And founder of something similar to a Motown Records.
Larry King: You speak out politically?
Keke Palmer: I do.
Larry King: What do you think of President Obama?
Keke Palmer: I think that he was great for what he did. You know, I think did awesome, I love Obama. But at the end of the day I think we as people let so many of our Presidents and things down because we don’t take our stance. You know, we don’t really pay attention to our local elections. We don’t really pay attention to the things that are going to give them a balanced house of congress.
Larry King: They can’t even name their own congressman.
Keke Palmer: I just realized – and I’m gonna sit here and be honest, I just realized these things. You know? So I had to say to myself “come on girl.”
Larry King: What do you think of Mr. Trump?
Keke Palmer: I think that the system is not broken. I think that it was working exactly how it was designed to. So I’m not shocked that he’s the President. I’m shocked that we’re shocked.
