Larry King: Who’s a ‘Modern Family’ costar you’d like to trade places with for a day?

Eric Stonestreet: Ooh, trade places with for a day on ‘Modern Family.’ Ed’s got a pretty good—Ed’s and I’s lives are pretty uniquely the same, but his life would be good. Sofia would be fun, but she gets tagged by the paparazzi, so, but I think I’d like to feel what it’s like to be Sofia for a day.

Larry King: Who do you think is the funniest person on ‘Modern Family’?

Eric Stonestreet: I think it’s Sofia, because as far as her ability to really understand a situation and boil a moment down—we have these group texts that honestly, we would probably get a big giant book deal if we would share our group texts—between me, Julie, Ty, Jessie, and Ed, and she always just drops the bomb on the text that makes all of us laugh so much.
