Larry King & Nelly Bond Over Baseball & More

Nelly brings his intense love of baseball and talks his newest album on today's all-new "Larry King Now."

As a rapper, Nelly has sold more than 20 million records and was named one of the top artists of the 2000s. But did you know he nearly went pro in something near and dear to Larry King's heart? Yep, Cornell Iral Haynes, Jr. was almost a star baseball player.

So it's no surprise Larry and Nelly got along right away on today's all-new "Larry King Now," chatting Nelly's huge decade of hits, crossover and hip-hop alike. Plus, the guys played their own baseball trivia game and talked about whether Nelly wished he could have gone pro in America's pastime.

"I always believe everything happens for a reason," said Nelly. "Now, to go back to that, if I knew A-Rod was going to getmillion, hell yeah I would have played baseball!"
