'The Goldbergs' Family Visits 'Larry King Now'

Jeff Garlin and Wendi McLendon-Covey of "The Goldbergs" join "Larry King Now" today.

Comedic icons Jeff Garlin and Wendi McLendon-Covey have forged long and successful careers by making people laugh on shows and films like "Curb Your Enthusiasm,""Reno 911!" and "Bridesmaids."

When the two joined forces this year, however, they really made a splash. Their new hit comedy, "The Goldbergs," is one of the season's biggest hits and the two made their way to "Larry King Now" to talk about working together, their varied careers and more.

"I never thought I’d be on a network show," said Garlin, who perhaps is best known for his collaboration with Larry David on "Curb." "I’m not a network kind of guy."
Wendi and Larry ended up bonding about a bevy of topics, including the explosion of female comedy leads in the last decade.
"The material is getting better," said McLendon-Covey. "My whole thing with women in comedy is you can’t make something that’s not funny, funny."
