Charlie Sheen talked for the first time publicly about his health & revealed he is HIV positive to TODAY show host Matt Lauer.
"It's a hard three letters to absorb. It's a turning point in one's life," Sheen said.
In the TODAY show exclusive Sheen revealed he came forward about his condition to end extortion efforts & smear campaigns by those he thought he could confide in.
"I trusted them and they were deep in my inner circle, and I thought they could be helpful. My trust turned to their treason." Sheen told Lauer.
