Actor and former NFL player Terry Crews' pornography addiction nearly destroyed his marriage and landed him in rehab.

In a series of Facebook videos Crews opened up about his addiction and how he overcame it.

For years, Crews kept his porn addiction a secret from everyone - including his wife Rebecca King Crews.

During the first of his ongoing Facebook videos titled 'Dirty Little Secret,' Crews said, "It affected everything. My wife was literally like, 'I don't know you anymore. I'm out of here.' And that changed me. I had to change." Crews went to rehab to beat his addiction and has not watched porn for six or seven years now.

"It changes the way you think about people. People become objects. People become body parts. They become things to be used rather than people to be loved."

When speaking to Larry King, Crews said, "I have to soften and experience empathy. I've had to see myself through my wife's eyes, through my kids' eyes and that changed everything."

With looming threats of his wife leaving him, Crews ultimately decided to seek treatment. He said, "I did not get help so I could get my wife back. I got help because I needed it."

The couple is still together today and have five children.

Crews originally revealed his addiction to pornography in 2014 while promoting his book Manhood. Crews appeared on Global News' 'The Morning Show' where he said, "For years I was addicted to pornography. It was one thing that changed the way I saw people. This is an addiction as big as cocaine or alcohol or anything like that."

The intention of Crews' 'Dirty Little Secret' video series is to open up the dialogue about his addiction and to help people who are suffering with their own.

Through his pornography addiction and rehab, Terry Crews realized what the key to his masculinity is. Listen to what he had to say when he sat down with Larry King!
