That’s right, the iconic concert, put together by Bad Boy’s chief, "Puff Daddy," aka "Puffy," "P. Diddy," or just plain "Diddy," will be taking place on May 20th.  This is a date close to the label’s heart, as it would have been the 44th birthday of one of their most celebrated artists: the Notorious B.I.G.

Performing that night will be Bad Boy’s biggest artists - Mase, Faith Evans, Lil Kim, the Lox, Total, 112, Mario Winans, and French Montana - along with guest appearances by Mary J. Blige and Jay Z.  As Diddy says, “This isn’t just another concert - This is hip-hop history!”  With music being performed from over two decades, the event is sure to have fans reminiscing about the past.

Fans got a taste of a reunion show at the 2015 BET Awards, with Diddy bringing out several Bad Boy artists for a 10-minute performance medley.

Recenly, Faith Evans, Biggie’s widow has discussed her duet LP, The King & I, with her singing alongside verses from her husband.  She also hinted at a reunion tour and the possibility of ahologram of the late rapper appearing during her performance.  Maybe the hologram will make its debut at the Barclay’s concert!

One of the show’s performers, French Montana, recently sat down with Larry King and discussed the industry and why it’s so hard for female rappers today to get noticed.  Do you think Lil Kim faced the same issues as a new artist breaking out in the industry?  Watch the clip below and sound off in the comments.

Tickets for the show go on sale this Saturday, April 2nd at 11 am EST.
