Miesha Tate had a lot to say about Ronda Rousey after her title win against Holly Holm.

The UFC women’s bantamweight champion stole the title from Holm at UFC 196 by choking her unconscious.

UFC president Dana White has confirmed that Tate will face Rousey in her first title defense later this year. Although Rousey is not expected to return until November, we might see her come back even sooner to face her rival.

Tate has fought Rousey twice before, both ending in losses, but she believes she has an edge this time around. After Rousey’s shattering defeat to Holm at UFC 193 last November, her head just might not be in it.

While on ’The Jay Mohr Show’ Tate said, “What about Ronda’s mentality? I think Ronda is beating herself up over this. She’s obviously said that she’s so emotional to the point where she’s considering crazy things and it’s like this is a broken woman.”

“I don’t know if she’ll ever come back the same, but I have proven I can come back from adversity and I do come back and I will come back and there’s no one in this sport that can break me. I have the strongest mindset of anybody in there and I don’t know where Ronda’s at with her mindset, but I have to wonder is she ever going to come back the same?”

Since her last fight against Rousey, Tate has been working full-time to improve her skills. “I’ve improved so much and I think I showed that in the fight with Holly, being able to stand in there and not only with a world champion boxer but also a multiple time world champion kick boxer.”

Right now Tate is taking some much deserved time off to celebrate her win before facing Rousey.
