To celebrate the Star Wars: Episode VIII actress' 24th birthday, Daisy Ridley's costar Mark Hamill posted a picture of the duo on set.

Hamill tweeted, "A long time ago (last week I think) In a galaxy far, far way (@PinewoodStudios) THIS happened! Happy Birthday Daisy!"

Hamill must be preparing Ridley to become a Jedi, because this photo sure does remind us of his Jedi training as Luke Skywalker in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back when he carried Yoda on his back.

The actress sure has come a long way in the last year. At the same time a year ago, the British actress was quite unheard of, despite being cast as Rey in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which had already begun filming. Now, Ridley is in the midst of filming the follow up film to The Force Awakens - which earned her the MTV Movie Award for Breakthrough Performance on Saturday night - and has been rumored to play Lara Croft in Tomb Raider.

The 9-year-old Room actor, Jacob Tremblay named his new puppy after Ridley's character Rey. Tremblay asked his Twitter followers on Thursday to help name the puppy. He ultimately decided on Rey Tremblay.

The latest film in the Star Wars franchise is set to be released on December 15, 2017.
