Superhero crossover stories have been around since the Golden Age of comics. DC would enter the world of Marvel, Spiderman would team up with Daredevil, and Wonder Woman even partnered with Scooby Doo and Mystery Inc. to save Themyscira! And today – with Batman v Superman dominating the big screen and X-Men's Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead guest-starring in the blockbuster hit Deadpool – crossover events show no signs of letting up. Now a new major crossover will may be taking place on the small screen.

According to CW head honcho Mark Pedowitz, Arrow, Supergirl, The Flash and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow – all known to exist in the “Arrowverse” – will be colliding at the end of this year. “Just imagine what our superhero crossover episode is going to look like come December,” he told press earlier this week, adding that the event will be "the biggest one ever."

As of now, the CW features three intertwined DC series: Arrow, The Flash, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. That number is soon to be four, as Supergirl jumps to The CW from CBS for its second season. Of Supergirl's move, Pedowitz said “The fact that it's now moved to The CW, where it should have been in the first place, I don't think it will have a big impact on the tone.”

Larry recently sat down with the Green Arrow himself, Stephen Amell, who likewise teased the crossover. Tune into Stephen's full interview on May 27th to hear what he had to say about the event. In the meantime, check out these advance clips, in which Stephen dishes on the Arrow season finale, and whether Laurel Lance will be resurrected.
