Finding Dory: Pixar hits another home run

13 years later, we finally get the sequel to "Finding Nemo" that we always wanted.

In 2003, we went on an adventure together in search of a lost little clown fish. We surfed we turtles, swam from sharks and always remembered to just keep swimming. Now, 13 years later, we get to revisit the story and characters that we loved so much in Pixar’s latest feature film, “Finding Dory”.

In “Finding Dory”, Marlin [Albert Brooks] and Nemo [Hayden Rolence] take a back seat as the story revolves around everyone’s favorite forgetful fish, Dory [Ellen DeGeneres].Set just 3 months after “Finding Nemo”, this time around it’s Dory that needs finding (as the title suggests). However, it’s not just about being found physically, but mentally. Dory is on a quest to find herself, where she came from and how she ended up crossing paths with Marlin. Most of all, she’s looking for her parents.

“Finding Dory” is filled with many familiar faces and even more new ones. Some new additions include Bailey the beluga whale [Ty Burell], Destiny the whale shark [Kaitlin Olson] and Hank the seven-armed octopus [Ed O’Neil]. And as with any Pixar film, it’s filled with cameos from some of our favorites such as Bill Hader, Kate McKinnon, Idris Elba, Sigourney Weaver and, of course, John Ratzenberger.

“Finding Dory” takes you on another adventure without seeming tired or redundant. Pixar is a master at playing with our emotions and “Finding Dory” is no exception. You will cry and you will laugh. A lot. Make sure to go see it when it comes out June 17th because everyone will be talking about it the following week!
