Nelly Furtado: I like writing more than performing.

Larry King: Really?

Nelly Furtado: Yeah, I do truly.

Larry King: Really?

Nelly Furtado: Yes.

Larry King: So if they said you could only do one thing, you would write.

Nelly Furtado: Yeah. I would actually. [Laughs] I would, yeah. Not that I don’t like performing, it’s fun, but I don’t know, something happens when you write. Like I said, I’m able to understand myself better when I write a song. I kind of go, “Okay, I get it now.”
