Larry King: Okay we play a little game of If You Only Knew.
Bonnie-Jill Laflin: Uh-oh.
Larry King: I just throw some questions at you.
Bonnie-Jill Laflin: Okay. [Chuckles]
Larry King: I like the bracelet.
Bonnie-Jill Laflin: Thank you.
Larry King: Proudest accomplishment.
Bonnie-Jill Laflin: I guess being the first female scout in the NBA.
Larry King: Best piece of advice you ever got.
Bonnie-Jill Laflin: To have thick skin and your integrity means a lot.
Larry King: Worst piece of advice.
Bonnie-Jill Laflin: Oh gosh, worst piece of advice. That’s a tough one, Larry, can we go back to that one? [Chuckles]
Larry King: Yeah, it’s not a court.
Bonnie-Jill Laflin: [Laughs]
Larry King: Place we’ll find you on a day off.
Bonnie-Jill Laflin: Dog park with my dogs.
Larry King: Sport we’d be surprised you’re a fan of.
Bonnie-Jill Laflin: Horse racing.
Larry King: Me too.
Bonnie-Jill Laflin: Are you?
Larry King: Oh.
Bonnie-Jill Laflin: Oh yes.
Larry King: Hey I lived at Hialeah Gulfstream.
Bonnie-Jill Laflin: Me and my dad, we own racehorses.
Larry King: You do?
Bonnie-Jill Laflin: Yes. And I go to the Derby every year, and I love it.
Larry King: This year’s a pretty interesting crop of-
Bonnie-Jill Laflin: Well it’s open field now, it’s going to be kind of tough, I don’t know-
Larry King: Rosario rode a horse in the Florida Derby, no, the Wood Memorial.
Bonnie-Jill Laflin: Oh, what’s that one-
Larry King: War something.
Bonnie-Jill Laflin: Yes, that’s one to look at. And the classic Empire-
Larry King: Oh yeah.
Bonnie-Jill Laflin: But we’ll see.
Larry King: Current favorite NBA player.
Bonnie-Jill Laflin: Current favorite NBA player would have to be Kevin Durant. Or Steph Curry.
Larry King: I love Isaiah Curry.
Bonnie-Jill Laflin: Oh god. What happened to him recently is-
Larry King: Chris Paul.
Bonnie-Jill Laflin: Yeah, Chris Paul, yeah.
Larry King: What a wonderful player.
Bonnie-Jill Laflin: Yeah, he is.
Larry King: He’ll stay with the Clippers cause they can’t—he maxes out his salary.
Bonnie-Jill Laflin: Remember he was almost going to be a Laker?
Larry King: Laker. But once you can max it out, how can they top that?
Bonnie-Jill Laflin: You can’t. No, they can’t.
Larry King: Pick to win the NBA Championship.
Bonnie-Jill Laflin: This year? I’m going to go Warriors.
Larry King: No kidding.
Bonnie-Jill Laflin: [Laughs]
Larry King: Biggest pet peeve.
Bonnie-Jill Laflin: People who hate animals.
Larry King: Player you wish you’d brought to the Lakers.
Bonnie-Jill Laflin: Uh.
Larry King: Is there a college kid you wanted them to draft, and he went somewhere else?
Bonnie-Jill Laflin: I’m trying to think, so many years that I—I’m trying to think who’d be someone that I—Drew Williams.
Larry King: Biggest misconception about being a professional cheerleader.
Bonnie-Jill Laflin: That we’re airheaded, stupid, and don’t know the game.
Larry King: Something you wish you were better at.
Bonnie-Jill Laflin: I wish I could sing. I can’t sing at all. [Laughs]
Larry King: Person you would like to take to lunch.
Bonnie-Jill Laflin: Oh gosh. Jane Goodall.
Larry King: What is she doing? She’s still with her animals? You’re an animal lover.
Bonnie-Jill Laflin: Yeah. Big animal activist, I love her. I think-
Larry King: Jane still goes to Africa?
Bonnie-Jill Laflin: Yeah, and saving the monkeys, I just think she’s so inspiring, so I’ve always really loved her.
Larry King: What kind of dogs you have?
Bonnie-Jill Laflin: I’ve got three rescues, one that I rescued from China, because they eat the dogs over there, so I brought one back from China, and then two, one was in the Puppy Bowl and one from the shelter, and then three cats. And horses too, I rescue horses.
Larry King: Three dogs and three cats? They get along?
Bonnie-Jill Laflin: Sometimes. [Laughs]
Larry King: Person you’d like to switch places with for a day.
Bonnie-Jill Laflin: Angelina Jolie. I love her.
Larry King: Cause you want to spend a night with Brad Pitt.
Bonnie-Jill Laflin: [Laughs] No, she doesn’t-
Larry King: I know, but it doesn’t matter.
Bonnie-Jill Laflin: No, I just love her. I just think she’s amazing, beautiful inside and out.
Larry King: Bonnie-Jillin 10 years.
Bonnie-Jill Laflin: I hope to be owning a sports team, even if it’s a little bit, a little minority share.
