Larry King: Can a 12-year-old come up with a dish that you might say, “This could’ve been done by an adult major chef?”

Christina Tosi: I think that that happens, more often than not, in a way that then feels unfair when we go into ‘MasterChef’ with the adults. Because, sometimes, when we are really getting frustrated with these adults we want to kind of like say to them, “You know, an 11-year-old was in this kitchen last season and cooked a more beautiful chicken dish or baked a more beautiful macaroon.”
