Billy Crystal

William Edward "Billy" Crystal is an American actor, writer, producer, comedian, and film director. He gained notoriety in the 1970's for playing Jodie Dallas in the ABC sitcom, Soap and became a Hollywood star in the late 1980's and early 1990's starring in the box office successes, When Harry Met Sally and City Slickers. In 1986 Crystal started hosting, Comic Relief  on HBO with Robin Williams and Whoopi Goldberg. Founded by Bob Zmuda, Comic Relief raises money for homeless people in the United States. In addition to his various philanthropy work he has also hosted the Acamedy Awards nine times, most recently in 2012.
