Martin Short

Martin Short is a comedian, actor, writer, voice actor, and producer. He is best known for his comedy work particularly on the TV programs, Second City TV and Saturday Night Live. He starred in such comedic films as Three Amigos!, Father of the Bride, and Father of the Bride II as well as creating the characters of "Jiminy Glick" and "Ed Grimley". In addition to his on-screen acting Short also lends his voice to the childrens television series, The Cat in the Hat knows a Lot About That! which earned him an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Performer in an Animated Program in 2011. Short has actively campaigned for the past few years for The Women's Research Cancer Fund and accepted a "Courage Award" on behalf of his late wife Nancy Dolan Short who succumbed to the disease in 2010.
