Nelly

Cornell Iral Haynes, Jr. better known by his stage name Nelly is a rapper, entrepreneur, investor, and occassional actor from St. Louis, Missouri. In his early career Nelly performed with hip hop group the St. Lunatics but ultimately found success as a solo artist in 2000 with his debut album Country Grammar the title track of which was a top 10 hit. The album debut at number three on the Billboard 200 and went on to peak at number 1. Since his debut album Nelly has gone on to release a slew of hit albums. He won Grammy Awards in 2003 and 2004. Nelly also runs the non-profit organization, 4Sho4Kids Foundation  which is dedicated to improving the quality of life for children born with developmental disabilities, Down Syndrome, and children born addicted to drugs.
