Jon Lovitz talks contemporary 'SNL,' and opens up about which 2017 political sketches are his favorite.

Larry King: What do you think of Baldwin as Trump, Melissa McCarthy as Spicer, Kate McKinnon as—and those who play Kellyanne Conway?

Jon Lovitz: I think they’re hilarious, I mean they’re all super talented. I think that sketch that—I hardly known Sean-

Larry King: Spicer.

Larry King: Sean.

Larry King: That’s a famous-

Jon Lovitz: Yeah, you learn great training and Phil Hartman was from there, and you learn “stay in character, don’t break character, stay in it,” and she does it, she does everything, she totally committed. But her timing, I mean it’s just superb, and it built and built, and then even at the end, when she—podium and scooted out of there, and she did that, perfect timing, I mean she nailed it. I think it was one of the most brilliant sketches I’ve ever seen.
