Sears and Kmart cut ties with celebrity chef Paula Deen. Also cutting ties with Deen is QVC. The company said it will phase out her products and Deen will not be appearing on any upcoming broadcasts, and also says the parting will not be forever. Deen’s close friend and former President Jimmy Carter had some advice, saying, “let the dust settle.”
