Details are still emerging, but investigators know that a person entered the chapel on the church's campus and started shooting. Fulton County officials confirmed that the victim was a 48-year-old church staff member, possibly a member of the production crew; the person's name has not yet been released. Investigators say the victim was on stage and leading a prayer when he was shot at point-blank range. The suspect is described as a black man in his 30s, wearing a suit and tie. He fled the scene after the shooting and is still at large. Investigators said the suspect may have left the church in a black car, possibly a Subaru. The church, which is headed up by Pastor Creflo Dollar, is located on Burdett Road near Old National Highway in south Fulton County. The church's daycare were evacuated after the shooting. Parents have been called to pick up their children. Nearby Bethune Elementary School and McNair Middle School were temporarily on lockdown after the shooting, according to a Fulton County Schools spokesperson. The lockdown has since been lifted. World Changers Church holds a 10 a.m. service on Wednesdays.
