A new study from the University of Western Sydney shows that there are health benefits to watching someone else endure physical activity. Apparently, sympathetic nerve activity increases when you watch someone run or play a sport due to psychogenic response- elevating your heartbeat and sometimes, producing sweat. Good news for everyone watching football all day! Of course, you’ll still need to hit the gym sometimes.
