SHARK-PROOF?: Australian Company Claims It’s Invented Shark Repellent Wetsuit

Australian company Shark Attack Mitigation Systems, or SAMS, claims it’s developed the first shark repellent wetsuit. The company was reportedly backed by a university project. There are two wetsuits: a blue and white one that claims to make swimmers invisible to sharks, and a black and white one that signals to a shark that it’s poisonous. The company plans to have a few more rounds of testing on the suits before they go on sale.
