Soaring temperatures last weekend prompted people to flock to Death Valley to try using the heat to fry eggs on the sidewalk, in the desert. Death Valley National Park posted to their Facebook page that maintenance had been cleaning up egg shells and cartons left after the experiments, asking people to use a frying pan instead.
