Another Carnival Cruise Ship Suffers Power Outage; Overflowing Toilets

Another Carnival cruise ship has reported having problems and passengers are telling news agencies the vessel is experiencing power outages and overflowing toilets. The ship -- Carnival Dream -- is reportedly docked in St. Maarten in the eastern Caribbean. The ship’s captain reported having engine trouble, according to the Associated Press. Carnival released a statement saying there were “periodic interruptions to elevators and toilets” for a few hours over night, but all systems are currently running and the ship is docked so crew members can investigate a technical issue.
