A ‘Star Wars’ fan who had a chance to see an unedited version of the film as his final wish -- has died.
Daniel Fleetwood -- who has terminal cancer wanted nothing more than to see the movie.
His wife Ashley Fleetwood posted this plea on Twitter -- asking Disney to let her husband -- a huge star wars fan -- see the movie before it was too late…
His lungs are now 90% full of tumors. Time is running out. Please @DisneyFR#ForceForDanielpic.twitter.com/fgUJRy5dvt

The hashtag #ForceforDaniel starting trending -- with Daniel himself telling people magazine:
"if I got to see the movie, i might actually die from happiness. Growing up, I would watch the movies over and over and analyze every little detail. I hope I get to see what happens."
Actors Mark Hamill and John Boyega also supported the online campaign -- tweeting out their support to allow the lifelong fan to see the film.
I just read this and am elated for Daniel & his family! Thanks to the powers-that-be for making his dream come true. https://t.co/ImiAdyBxf8

‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ will be released to the public in December 18th.
