Saudi Man Makes Satirical Video Tackling Driving Ban on Woman in Arab Country

A man in Saudi Arabia has created a video highlighting the many issues facing women in the extremely conservative Arab country.

The latest is a ban on women driving in the country  with many coming up with strange excuses for why women should not be driving.  One executive even saying that driving will destroy women's ovaries.

26 year old comedian, Hisham Fageeh, tacked the issue using comedy and satire - with many people praising his efforts.

“The video was portraying the typical stereotypical Saudi men who don’t want women to drive and come up with all sorts of excuses. The video was a funny spoof trying to show how sexist these kinds of men are without offending women,” said Iman S., a 14 year old girl at a small Saudi school.

Women were banned from driving starting Saturday, with activists encouraging women to drive anyway.

The video already has more than 6 million views.
