PROOF OF TORTURE?: Shocking Photos May Prove Gruesome Abuse at Hand of Assad

A military police photographer smuggled 55,000 photos out of Syria, all serving as evidence for war crimes.

They were presented to the United Nations the day before a council was set to try and end the three-year conflict in the country.

The photos add pressure to President Bashar Al Assad, who’s already under attack for war crimes against his own people.
