A straight Australian author went to a gay bar for drinks with friends and woke up next to a naked female in her bed the following morning. She then receives an unrelated job offer to work on a tv show about a group of lesbians in Sydney, then starts dating one of the women shortly after filming. These experiences led her to write a book called ‘A Lesbian For A Year’ which has upset the LGBT community.
