The Daily Mail uncovers an alleged White House memo, stating a "deal" was made over the Iraq War between former British Prime Minister Tony Blair and former U.S. president George W. Bush.

The reported leak published by the Daily Mail allegedly shows that Tony Blair gave his support for the Iraq war at a summit with then sitting U.S. President George W. Bush in 2002.   The news outlet claims the leak proves Blair jumped on Bush's Iraq war propaganda bandwagon one year before the actual invasion.

The leak itself is a memo from then Secretary of State Colin Powell to President Bush, written on March 28, 2002.  Check out the document here.  In the memo, Powell states to W. that Blair "will be with us" on military action, assuring the president that "the UK will follow our lead".

The document is from a batch of emails held on the private server of Democratic candidate for president Hillary Clinton, which she was forced to reveal via US courts.

According to the Daily Mail, this revelation goes against Tony Blair's public claims at the time that he was looking towards more "diplomatic" - i.e. peaceful - solutions to the crisis.

The White House memo comes from a string of emails held on Hillary Clinton's private server, which she handed over to U.S. courts.
