Here's What Jesse Ventura Thinks About Obama's Troop Deployment to Syria

President Barack Obama announced his plan to send a small number of U.S. special operations forces into Syria as part of a shift in its strategy against ISIS.

What the hell ever happened to congress approving us to go to war? When did we give the president the authority to just send us to war on his own without any approval of congress?

Do I approve of this? Absolutely not. I’m 64 years old and all I hear is that this isn’t Vietnam. We heard that entering Iraq, we heard it entering Afghanistan and we’re hearing it now. This is exactly Vietnam.

We start off with bombing. Then it goes to advisors. Then it goes to boots on the ground. Then it goes to a ten year quagmire where young men and women are coming home in body bags and we don’t know how the hell to get out of there .The best thing is, don’t go in in the first place. Get out of there right now.

Look at what Reagan did. When the car bomb hit Lebanon, the truck bomb and killed 200 and some Marines, brave marines, did Ronald Reagan go to war? Absolutely not, he cut and ran. He got out of there. Why don’t we start listening to Ronald Reagan and get out of the Middle East.
