President Obama has rejected the Keystone Pipeline, but Jesse doesn't think this is the last we'll hear about it.
This is a step in the right direction -- we can finally modernize and get away from using oil. This will help force us to get off our oil dependency, which we sorely need to do.
I don’t think this is the last we’ll be hearing of it though. If we elect a conservative president, then you better believe the pipeline will be back on the table. But I don’t think we’re going to have a conservative president unless the election is rigged.
To the people saying that the pipeline will create jobs: once it’s built, the jobs are gone. I also want to know who is going to protect this thing? Is the private oil company going to provide security or is it going to be us, the taxpayers? If they build this, it’s going to naturally be a terrorist target. These are the questions that should be asked and answered.
