ProPublica reported that the Pentagon was making it difficult for the Special Inspector General for Afghan Reconstruction to investigate reports of gross waste and mismanagement by a $776-million task force in Afghanistan.
This is a very disheartening thing for me as a veteran.
If Jesse Ventura does run for president, you can bet that the Department of Defense will get cut and their funding would go to education. We spend more in the United States on defense than what we spend on education. I think that’s completely wrong. In fact, let’s rename it and call it what it really is: the Department of War.
