The Senate has passed a bill that would allow key parts of Obamacare to be annulled as well as take away federal funding from Planned Parenthood.

Senate passes bill to defund planned parenthood

A new bill passed on Thursday that would repeal key parts of the Affordable Care Act as well as cut off federal funding of Planned Parenthood for one year. The senate passed the bill with a vote of 52 to 47. The bill is now on its way to the House of Representatives where it is expected to pass.

According to the White House, President Obama will veto the bill as soon as it makes its way o his desk. Once vetoed, Republicans will not be able to override the decision because they lack the 2/3rd majority required to do so.
