Keep your #AskJesse questions coming and Jesse Ventura will keep answering them from #OffTheGrid!

Bruce Snelgrove from Minnesota writes: Long time fan. I just saw your head to head with Alex Jones. He seemed impressed with your Off The Grid solar set up. I am trying to talk the wife into this. Did you design it yourself? Where did you go for info?

Jesse says:

No I did not design it myself, because the home that I bought down here was 5 years old and it came totally solar equipped. That’s a dilemma in Minnesota that I’m going to face when I come back because I want to solarize my home there as well. That’ll be the challenge for me.

Down here off the grid, the only way to get your electricity is via the sun. So it’s much more receptive where I’m at now, than where you are up in Minnesota. But when i go back there this summer, I’ll be making a determination to switch over as much as i can.

You’re on the right trail because getting off the grid and becoming energy independent makes you feel real good. You’re not relying on government.

Mike Valentine from Florida asks: If the 47 senators who wrote the letter to Iran were illegal, why are they not being prosecuted? Would it be fair to say that they are guilty of treason?

Jesse says:

If it’s not treason, it’s damn close.

To have an entire group of our legislative branch correspond with Iran, it would be the same thing if they send a letter to Cuba. It would be like them sending Fidel a message telling him not to cooperate with Obama because it isn’t going to matter in 2 years. They’re undermining the president and undermining the foreign policy of the United States of America.

People need to remember something: whether you’re for Obama or against him, if you love this country you still respect him. He’s the president. He was elected. So live with it.

Country should always come first.

Roberto Villanueva from California asks: Governor, I’m currently an undergraduate student at the university of California, Irvine. Perhaps you have heard of the whole American flag ordeal? I'd like to know where you stand on the issue.

Jesse says:

It’s a public university that uses public funds so they’ve got to fly the flag.

If the government of the United States is paying them, just call it rent.

It’s that simple.

Kyle Thompson from Georgia writes: Hang in there, Jesse! Many of us love you and admire you and we know that you are the true patriot, not liars like Chris Kyle.

Jesse says:

Thank you. I appreciate that very, very much from my heart. I wish there were more people that felt like you.

I appreciate it Kyle, because i didn’t do anything. I was thrown under the bus, an old Vietnam veteran. It would be the equivalent to if I threw a WWII veteran under the bus for money and fame. That’s not a good thing to do.

I don’t want to stomp on anyone’s grave, but Chris Kyle is not a hero. A hero has to have honor, and in order to have honor you can’t be a liar.
