A new Texas bill will stop cities from banning fracking. Lawmakers moved Monday to prohibit Texas cities from banning hydraulic fracturing and other potentially environmentally harmful oil and natural gas drilling activities within their boundaries, a major victory for industry groups and top conservatives.
This is a classic confrontation between man and corporation.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I think the corporations will prevail and win.
Ultimately it will go through the courts and when it gets to the Supreme Court, the Supreme Court will most likely side with the corporation.
I hope I’m wrong.
