Jeb Bush says that he would have authorized the 2003 invasion of Iraq but acknowledges that mistakes were made after Saddam Hussein had been removed from power.

“I would have [authorized the invasion], and so would have Hillary Clinton, just to remind everybody. And so would almost everybody that was confronted with the intelligence they got,” Bush told Kelly.

That’s a bunch of hogwash!

I never favored Iraq. I was apposed to the Iraq war and it cost me a job at MSNBC because of it.

I want to fire this out to Mr. Bush: if the intelligence was so bad that it took us to war under false pretense, why was no one fired? Instead Jeb Bush gave George Tenet, head of the CIA, the Medal of Freedom Award.

We were heading into that war no matter what intelligence told us. All they were doing was looking for any feeble excuse to do it.
