Sen. Bernie Sanders is pushing new legislation to raise the minimum wage for all workers to $15 an hour. The Democratic presidential candidate will introduce the minimum wage bill Wednesday. Sanders has long called for a $15 minimum wage, but this is the first bill he is introducing to do so. It’s believed to be the highest minimum wage that has ever been proposed by legislation in Congress.
I'd like to see them implement a maximum wage. If you can't live off of $100,000,000 a year, there's something wrong with you. There's not a person on the planet that should make more than that in one year. What could you possible spend it all on?
I think what Bernie is doing is wonderful. He's on the right track because the minimum wage has been stagnate for so long. People cannot survive on it.
I think it’s brilliant that Bernie has made this income disparity the number one issue of his campaign. The pay gap has been widening for far too long so hurray for Bernie Sanders. He’s my hero right now.
