There certainly isn't a better way to spend your 4th of July than getting some answers straight from the Body's mouth!  Ask Jesse your own questions at Ora.tv/OffTheGrid.

John Weeks from California asks: Shouldn't legislation for the TPP be required to be available for public review prior to being voted on by congress? How can this be done in secret?

Jesse Says:

Absolutely. Everything should be made public because they work for us. We’re supposed to elect them with full knowledge of what they do there.

So unless it deals with some huge national security issue then everything should be public and should be made public in a timely manner.

It has been over 50 years and we still can’t get Lee Harvey Oswald’s tax returns.

Gerald Labute from Canada asks: I think we should teach all major religions in school, and then let young people choose what belief they wish to follow when they are at the age of majority. What do you think Jesse?

Jesse Says:

I got a better idea. Keep religion out of school completely. Don’t teach it at all. Religion does not belong in the public schools. That’s something you do at church if you choose to be religious.

Our teachers and schools are there to teach them reading, writing, and arithmetic—not religion. Keep it all out of school. You don’t need it in school.

Lisa Kinsman from Pennsylvania asks: I'm very curious why Jesse is wearing a Che Guevara shirt? Wasn't he a mass murderer?

Che Guevara is the symbol of revolution. He was involved in a violent revolution and unfortunately, when there is a violent revolution, people die.

The other day, I was asked how could I admire Fidel Castro, since he tortured people. Well so does the United States of America—we torture people too.

Che Guevara is someone to be admired. He's the face of the common person.
