According to a report in the New York Post, the number of Ground Zero responders and victims afflicted with cancers has grown to 3,700.
3,700. That's the number of 9/11 responders and victims who are suffering from some type of cancer, according to the New York Post. And that number seems to only be growing.
That number includes Fire Department members (1,100 to be exact), cops and other responders (2,134), and victims, such as residents and local workers (467). The report states that many of these people have more than just one type of cancer.
Since 9/11 alone, the FDNY's chief medical officers told the NY Post that over 2,100 firefighters and EMS personnel have retired on disability, mostly due to lung disease or cancer.
Will we ever see justice for 9/11 victims? Sound off below.
