U.S. tax revenues are at a record high. Over $2.67 trillion has come in so far this fiscal year, according to the latest Treasury Department report. The burden of who pays the bulk of U.S. taxes has shifted over time from companies to individuals.
Since corporations are individuals, why not have them pay an individual tax rate the same way people do? They want to be people? Let’s take it the whole route and make them people then.
The point of the matter is that corporations are controlling the government and thus, are paying less. When corporations get off the hook and run the government it’s called fascism. We need to end the fascist states of America and tell corporations it’s time for them, believe it or not, to become patriotic again.
