Russian President Vladimir Putin and President Obama recently met while speaking before the United Nations. Putin said his talks with Obama were “very constructive, business-like and frank.” In regards to whether Russia could join the U.S.-led airstrikes against ISIS in Syria, Putin said: “We are thinking about it, and we don’t exclude anything.”

It’s wonderful that they are talking. Talk is better than war.

I’ve said this thousand of times: you go to war when politicians fail miserably. So as long as they’re talking and not shooting, it’s good.
