The mother of the broadcast news reporter who was gunned down on live television by a deranged gunman is now planning to make her life’s work trying to quote “implement effective and reasonable safeguards against this happening again.”
I read over the weekend that somebody was attacked with a machete. It’s a tool that is being obviously misused, just like guns are.
How about the United States government stops selling arms throughout the world and set an example that we could all try and live up to domestically. Innocent civilians are dying in the world from the weapons and bombs that we’ve supplied them with.
I think if the government is going to implement gun control, they need to start with themselves. When the government stops selling weapons, then I’ll reconsider giving up mine.
