The Governor sounds off on why he will not endorse Bernie Sanders or Donald Trump in their efforts to secure the presidential nomination for the Democratic and Republican parties, respectively.

I only support Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump for the fact that they are breaking up the two political parties.  Neither party seems to know what to do with them.

That’s what I enjoy about it.  I’m a former frogman.  We live under the premise: we don’t get mad, we get even.

I totally oppose Donald Trump’s policies. He’ll never get my endorsement in regards to his policies.  The only reason I mention Trump and Sanders is as a third party proponent.  I love the fact that Sanders and Trump are wreaking havoc in these parties.  They’re not what you would describe as your typical, hand-picked candidates.

And I never believed that Trump would do better than Bernie.  That’s the one revelation from this entire campaign season that astounds me the most.

But the disruption the two have caused for both Democrats and Republicans allows me to ask the voters -- and the world: Look at these two parties, do they really have your best interest in mind?

And now that Bernie is going to unequivocally endorse Hillary Clinton if he loses, I’d have to say “no” to that question.  They don’t have your best interest in mind.

I do not endorse Democrats or Republicans.  I may endorse some of their policies, but I won’t endorse either on the basis of the two-party duopoly.
